More than 1,000 bumblebees flew to work in the Podmoskovye greenhouse complex near the village of Ratmirovo in the urban district of Voskresensk. They settled in the second block of greenhouses and began their duties. The ovary that began to form in the flowers is their proboscis business. Specialists release bumblebees from hives daily from 8 to 11 am. In such hot weather, their performance does not exceed six weeks.

Russian bumblebees do an excellent job with their functions, vibrations and buzz pollinating tomato flowers. By the way, earlier this was done here mechanically, which does not guarantee a 100% result. Now the presence of bumblebees on the plantation is a guarantee of environmental friendliness, quality and efficiency of growing products.
The first tomatoes in the Resurrection greenhouse were sown in mid-May. And today’s pollination should significantly increase the yield – by about 20%. By the end of July, it is planned to harvest about 4 thousand tons of local tomatoes.
